Vehicle Detail
1992 Classic Volkswagen Cabriolet Convertible Wolfsburg Edition. This is a special trim option that makes the car better than most. Karmin stands for this Vw being made exclusively in Germany. This Cabriolet is an ABOVE average example. I had gotten it for my sister. I got the car back and realized the next owner would want this car to be as clean and worry free as possible. 1. So there is a fresh inspection. 2. New Brakes 3. Fresh factory color paint and clear coat buffed (as needed) to a HIGH shine This is the best thing I did to it. Painted only to make you happy and not for any other reason. 4. Brand new Pioneer radio with Ipod jack and rear speaker (4 speaker system) 5. Top has been replaced in it's life 6. 16"alloy wheels replaced the original 14" for a better look and performance 7.The motor is a remanufactured 1.8L from GEX 8. New fog lights 9. Manual top for less maintenance cost 10. Driver's air bag and roll bar is nice for saftey 11. FULL inspection of every nook and cranny. Didn't need much but wiper blades etc. where taken care of Those were the pros. The only cons would be what shows age. Wheather seals show age. A/C needs a charge. Paint is gorgeous in the main important areas but are not buffed in other areas with a couple runs in the clear coat. This can all be made show quality if desired. Seats have been color spray died with two patches (marine grade vinyl) in driver's seat and one on passenger bottom seat. It does look nice as pictures will show. The gas guage seams to have a loose wire that works then doesn't. I will try to fix this but it gets 250+ to the tank full so I have been setting the trip counter and this has worked fine. The windshield does have a wiper scuff mark high on the passenger side out of line of sight. I have been driving this car for the past month around town and on the highway to make sure it will be a good driver and make a long drive. This car is very clean and ready to have fun with. This Cabriolet will not disappoint. If you are near by I can drive it over to see and test drive. If you are not local please ask any questions or I will take pictures if need be. A very nice survivor / refurbished classic, straight up with no hidden "a ohs"
