Here is my 1963 Pontiac Tempest convertible with white top, OE 195 ci Trophy-4 four cylinder and 2-speed transaxle powerglide, and power steering. Clear California Title. Very Rare Car. I had mustang convertible, but I wanted something different that no one else had...and this fit the bill for me nicely. Lots of head turns, thumbs up, second looks and questions as to what it is...many refer to this as the GTO JR, being the predecessor to the classic 1964 GTO. It has body lines and trim like no other vehicle. Independent rear suspension and power steering makes for smooth comfortable ride. It has a lot of new features, but kept it as stock as possible. It has new door panels, window cranks, door handles, drum brakes all around, trunk pad, rear ashtrays, and a brand new convertible top and boot. All purchased from AMES PERFORMANCE PONTIAC dealer. They are a great resource for parts. New trunk weather strip. Also have new costco battery. The top was professionally installed by a veteran here in San Diego (Jim's Auto upholestry). He charges more, but he is the best in San Diego. The top alone counting parts and installation was $1000. The top goes up and down manually. The car has a new paint job. Engine and transmission runs and drives great, purrs nicely down the road. Hate to see this go, but other family priorities have come up. This is a very nice example and representation of an original Tempest convertible. I welcome questions and respond promptly. Shipping must be arranged by buyer, and my wife and I will accommodate schedules and arrangements for pickup. I prefer bucket seats and installed a pair of new upholstered bucket seats. Other than that, it is pretty much original. Additionally just replaced - Power steering pump, Water Pump, Sway Bar Bushings, ball joints, exhaust muffler, more !! sorry for the cell phone pics....
