Hello Bidders! I planned on keeping this bike, but it’s time to sell. I’ll be traveling internationally over the next two years, so I hate to do it, but it’s most logical to sell now instead of letting the bike sit in a garage gathering dust. I set my reserve to $6300. I checked on Kelley Blue Book and the value of this bike is $7300, not including the upgrades and extra gear, so you're getting this CBR 1000RR at a very good price; who knows, I may even sell it less than the reserve, that’s the beauty of ebay. This CBR is in GREAT condition and garage kept. It has a Hot Bodies Racing undertail, matching rear tire hugger, and tinted windscreen. I also added the Jardine RT-5 carbon fiber exhaust, which adds great sound and weight reduction. I will also include the original exhaust, a battery tender, front and rear matching bike stands, Title, and brand new Dunlop Q2 front and rear tires that only have the 5 miles it took for me to get from the bike shop to my house. I am the original owner and do my best to pamper this bike. I purchased it in Jacksonville, NC in the summer of 2008 and do a majority of smooth highway riding. I am a fair weather rider, so this bike never endures inclement weather and remains garaged and properly stored over the winter. I've since put over 19,000 miles on the bike. It doesn’t have a scratch on her. As I said, I pamper this bike and planned on keeping it, but I don’t have the heart to let it sit for two years; my motivation is that I’ll buy a new one when I get back. I’m also throwing in my motorcycle jacket, helmet, gloves, really nice CBR1000 bike cover, all the straps necessary to secure the bike in a trailer or flat bed, I’m selling it all. I’m sure I’ve got some additional items that aren’t listed here, such as lubricants, maintenance items, cleaning supplies, and the list goes on. Whoever wins this auction is getting the complete package and an awesome deal. In one of the pics you'll notice an aluminum plate under the windscreen. That plate was fabricated for this bike to easily slide in and out with the loosening and tightening of the windscreen screws, no need to remove the screws. The plate enables you to affix decals if required for you parking or entrance to you place of work and prevents you from having to place decals anywhere on the bike, so you can slide it on when it's time for work and slide it off for anonymity when time for play. Communication and a $250 deposit are due within 24 hours of the end of the auction to cover EBay fees. The balance and pickup are due within 10 days, or else I must relist the bike. The winning bidder is responsible for pickup or shipping. I accept certified checks, money orders, and even paypal, but expect to add 3% if you plan to pay via paypal. Cash in person works well; if you need to use a personal check, it must clear before you can pick up the bike.
