Born and raised a California car and is believed to retain its original sheet metal with a straight no-hit body with only one exterior correct black repaint and still retains its original paint in the door jams, trunk, the tops of the inner fenders in the engine compartment, the factory stickers in the engine compartment are still intact, driver door sticker has never been touched, it has the original California emissions sticker intact in the window the bias-ply spare and jack in trunk etc. The important body numbers are matching as well, the windshield cowl has the matching Vin #, the radiator support has the cars stamped matching Chassis # and it has its original fender tag in place as well as all the cool factory decal stickers. Please pay careful attention to the details of this eBay exclusive private seller event. The Details; This 1973 Challenger is a rarity especially a factory original Triple Black color scheme. (Black is the hottest looking color in my humble opinion for any classic muscle car) try and recall the last time you saw one of these at any show in Triple Black. The California body is believed to be a no-hit, has original panels, really straight, excellent panel fit w/tight gaps. Only the exterior paint was resprayed probably due to California sun fade and it still retains its original paint in the door jams, trunk, engine compartment inner fender tops etc. It is a nice glossy repaint that is great for local events, cruise nights and Sunday drives with the family. It is by no means show quality paint. The pass side rocker had a prior small minor repair. The undercarriage is excellent and was cleaned & prepped with a black primer. The chrome bumpers, trim and bright work look very nice on the car. It also has a correct new black vinyl roof installed. The rally wheels have been properly refinished and there are new radials. The front grill is excellent and glass is all very nice and the windows roll up and down. The black bucket seat interior is well preserved with wood grain accents. The back seat is like new, the door panels are uncut and like new, headliner is excellent with original the original overhead seat belts still intact, original energy absorbing steering wheel is excellent, wood grain console is mint, the dash is nice, the original black buckets seats are very nice with only a few minor seam splits from new. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and a pleasure to see. The chassis is clean and rock solid. Trunk is solid with its factory trunk carpet and a believed original bias ply spare & original jack included. The Mechanics; The heart of this 1973 Challenger is its excellent strong running factory 318 V-8 that has new seals installed has been well tuned, also was properly repainted to factory specs and more. Mated to the factory smooth shifting well maintained slapstick automatic transmission. Recently it has a new front to back Stainless dual exhaust system with chrome tips, all new brakes installed, new gas tank, new sending unit, new radial tires, battery and the list goes on.
