It is a four-door sedan with a white exterior and gray interior. This Ford Escort is definitely one of the most solid cars I have driven. The small 4 cylinder 2.0 engine makes it an incredible gas saver averaging 30 MPG overall and 35 highway. The miles for the Escort are very low considering it is a 14 year old vehicle. The vehicle does have power windows and a cassette player. The transmission shifts smoothly with no complaints. The engine has also been running smoothly with no problems what so ever. I ran an Autocheck on this Ford Escort, you will be the fourth owner. One owner owned it from 1999 until 2007. It is absolutely clean, no accidents or any type of lease. Autocheck scored the Escort at 47 while similar vehicles score between a 14 and 37. As a 14 year old vehicle it does have a few flaws which I will accurately describe to the best of my ability. The paint is in incredible condition, there are almost no dings except for one or two very small ones. There is some rust on the underneath of the vehicle along the undercarriage. Which is almost unnoticeable unless you get below the vehicle to take a look at it. The rust is along both sides in the same spot. Unfortunately the rust has eaten away so much on the passenger side that it will need to be repaired because there are some loose parts. My mechanic quoted me for the work at $425. They were going repair the rust to make sure the car was 100% again. Also, the ABS light has been coming and going but the brakes have not caused me any problems lately. Other than the rust, the vehicle is in good running condition with no complaints of either the engine or transmission. The last few pictures accurately depict the rust problem. I have accurately described every single flaw that I have encountered in this Ford Escort and I hope that you will bid with confidence!
