Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a great orignal, un-touched, 1974 K3 Honda CT-70. Serial CT70-2331096 and motor is CT70E-2328170. This bike is unmolested and completely original (except carb). The bike has the original tires, seat, paint and only has 1,267 miles. The bike was originally purchased from Jons Cycle Rama in Mt. Vernon, IN (has original sales sticker on side of bike). I have the original carb and will include it in the sale. It runs with the original carb, but runs even better with the new carb. If anyone knows anything about these CT70's, the original carbs are always the issue. This bike has a title. I spoke to the 2nd owner who owned the bike in the late 1970's and through 1990. His grandkids rode it and then it sat for many years when they got tired of it. It was sold to another person who put it inside his house for 15 plus years until I purchased it and began ridding it. It runs fantastic and will run 30 MPH plus on my short street. I have done nothing to this bike other than give it a bath, replace the carb and ride it. This bike is so original and runs so well, I would recommend not restoring the bike. Rare color, chrome fork ears and blinkers (that work). The bike has surface rust and the chrome has surface rust and pitting. Typical of an unrestored 40 year old bike. Look at the pictures close, let me know if any questions. Buyer is responsible for shipping, but I will drive the bike to a shipping facility that is within 5 miles of my house (46123). Update, tail light for front/rear brake, horn, head light (except low beam), horn and speedo lights all work.On Apr-28-13 at 19:44:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Up for auction is a great orignal, un-touched, 1974 K3 Honda CT-70. This bike did not come with rear hand brake installed. It does not have the rake on the handlebar for the rear brake. I will post pixs if I still can.
