1972 VW Westfalia Camper bus POP-TOP Surfer Special! Hello, I am selling this super nice 3rd owner Westi Camper bus, Take a look!! It’s always been well cared for. we just had the motor rebuilt, By the way, this is not the “Stay-away-from-72”Motor, and it was converted to the 1971 1600cc motor back in the 80’s!! This motor was done right, has all correct Cool tin, motor mounts, Just like the bus’s from Europe came. The bus has nearly all the Original interior, and I mean ORIGINAL, right down to the original front seats!! Never recovered!! Has the complete Westfalia interior including the Wardrobe closet, fold out bed/rear seat, Just seat behind the driver, Folding table, Nice Hawaiian Curtains, and most important part people ask for, “Ice box” Unit!! And has the sink above, with folding table cover, all in unbelievable shape for a bus over 40 years old!! We just had a Professional paint job done, and this was the first time in 40 years the bus has had it, before this, we covered the original , well worn paint, and for the most part, need a very minimum amount of any kind of body work, This is a nice bus!! And when painting, of course most all came off, especially the big pop-top, and it was painted the brighter white, along with Bumpers, sets it off well. Also, when the second owner had it, he did a lot of surfing in Baja Mexico, and the towed it there behind the motorhome, he had a super duty towing package done on the front, (See picture) so if you want to tow, its ready for that also. And of course, a new POP-Top canvas The best one they sell!! With all three windows, and screened so to keep the bugs out! We also have the original Top Cot, (if you dare sleep up there?) and the Baby cot up front, (Where My dog Diesel sleeps) I think if you want a great fun bus for the summer, along with being a “Sound investment” you got it here. I can take a picture to show a true buyer of anything they wish to see, nothing to hide here, No rusty spots, all flooring, frame, all is very solid!! And the bus also drives like a dream! Has near new tires, new front disc brakes, rebuilt booster, brake lines, so brakes are great!! Has a great stereo, ready for your “Beach-Boys” CD’s!!
