1981 HONDA CM400A HONDAMATIC BLUE GAS TANK AND SIDE COVERS 90% SHOWROOM BIKE!!! VERY GOOD+ CONDITION. Completely detailed from end to end, cleaned carburetor had tank and side covers painted to match original blue, 2-speed transverse automatic transmission, all original parts on this bike, no aftermarket. no tears in seat, all lights work including brake, turn signals, high low beam and instrument lights. Runs and shifts excellent, even parking brake works, no rust inside tank, all cables, hoses, and wiring in very good shape, original wheels and tires in great condition, no dry rot, but some minor cracking. Changed the oil, checked fork seal and oil, great condition. Original mirrors are in good shape, no chips or scratches on glass, chrome backs show some minor wear, no dents though. This is a very quiet bike. Only defects are minor pitting on the top of gas tank where it was repaired, and two dents on right side exhaust pipe. The Honda CM series was a street bike precursor to the Honda Rebel series of motorcycles produced from 1979-1981. These bikes had a 395cc parallel twin engine that was air-cooled.
