Vehicle Detail
1967 CHEVY II Nova sedan (post car) 327, 4-speed L-79 Inspired Fully Restored Chevrolet American Muscle Car This ’67 Chevy II sedan (post) was built to resemble the very rare and desirable L79 model. Featuring a marina blue exterior with a matching bench seat interior, it features a 327-cid small block, four-speed transmission, 12-bolt rear-end and a complete Cal-Tracs rear suspension system from Calvert Racing. It has manual steering and brakes. This is solid and reliable car that is very fun to drive and attracts attention wherever it goes. It shows well but the paint is not perfect and there are a few minor nicks and dings and a few detail items that would characterize it as a “driver” quality vehicle rather than a “show car.” The window glass and chrome trim would also be considered driver quality. A lot of time and effort (and money) has already been spent on this car including the installation of the Cal-Tracs rear suspension system, a new Richmond 3.73 ring and pinion gear and a completely rebuilt 12-bolt rear housing that includes new bearings and axle seals. It also features a new transmission mount, new drive shaft and U-joints, a new fuel tank, filler neck and fuel lines. The front end is properly aligned so the car does not wander even at freeway speeds and the brakes were recently serviced so the car stops very efficiently with no pulling to the left or right. Engine: 327-cid small block Chevy with desirable "double hump" or "fuelie" cylinder heads, an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, and all new MSD ignition components (Ignition box, wires, distributor, and coil) and a new Moroso deep sump oil pan. The carburetor was recently rebuilt so the choke functions and car starts at the turn of the key (even when cold) and idles smoothly. This engine runs strong but is still mild enough for everyday street use. The oil is clean and the engine does not overheat or smoke. Transmission: Muncie 4-Speed with Hurst shifter and Hays clutch. Shifts smoothly. Interior: Blue bench seat interior features new carpet and door panels. Seat covers are clean with no rips or tears. Headliner is decent with only a few signs of normal use. The factory gauges do not work, but the sale includes a brand new Auto Meter Tach, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Gas Gauges which have yet to be installed. The dash pad has a few small cracks but has been re-dyed so it looks presentable. Wipers and lights all function normally. The list of new parts that have been installed on this car includes: NEW: Complete CalTracs rear suspension system incluiding traction control bars, shocks, and springs (over $1,250 retail value) NEW: 3.73 Richmond ring and pinion gear in completely rebuilt 12-bolt rear end NEW: Drive shaft, U-joints, yoke, and trans mount. NEW: Factory style Chevrolet Rallye wheels with new Falken tires (less than 500-miles) NEW: MSD 6AL Ignition Box, MSD Distributor, MSD Coil, wires and spark plugs NEW: Moroso deep sump oil pan NEW: Fuel tank, filler neck and fuel lines NEW: interior carpet, correct hook and loop style and new door panels NEW: Auto Meter Tach, oil pressure, temp, and gas gauges. (still in boxes but included with sale) NEW: Master cylinder and re-built brakes NEW: Triple chrome rear bumper (not mounted but included with sale) NEW: Tail light lenses, rearview mirror, and exterior mirror I have tried to provide as much detail as possible but I'd still be happy to answer any questions.
