Time to pass my 1987 Series III Jaguar Sovereign to the next owner. I have owned this car for over 15 years. It has no rust, has never had any bodywork done (nor needed) and is as original as the day it came out of the factory in Conventry in 1987. Only 72,700 kilometres (45,000 miles). It is finished in the beautiful Silver Birch (simliar to a champagne colour) with Buckskin leather interior. All leather is in excellent condition as is the dark burl walnut dash. It has always been garaged. If you are looking for one of the best remaining classic Series III bodystyles in original unmolested condition, this is the one for you. They are only original once. On Apr-29-13 at 08:31:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I neglected to mention, the front tires are the original Pirelli tires from the factory in Coventry. While the tread is fine, due to the age of the tires I have arranged to have two new Pirelli tires balanced and installed prior to the end of the auction for the new owner. I replaced the rear tires previously (with Pirelli's), and are in nice shape. If I was keeping the car, the only thing I would look at doing would be replacing the front suspension bushings - again just because of the age of the rubber.
