Vehicle Detail
This car is awesome. So, why am I selling it? Well, I bought this car from a kid last year to use in a music video. He and his dad had been restoring it, and did a bunch of mechanical work, and had pulled the car apart to do the interior and paint. He lost interest, his dad made him sell it. I bought it, assembled it enough to use in the video, and then parked it at a shop here in Phoenix, not sure what my next move was going to be. Well, I decided to sell it. I live in NYC and have two kids. My wife will never EVER go for it. Anyway, in the last year I had the windshield replaced (watch the video and you'll know why), had all the electrical checked and gone through, and bought over $1000 in finishing pieces for the interior. All you need to do, is put the pretty pieces on, and voila! You've got yourself one hell of a muscle car. It's like we baked the cake, you get to ice it. Here's what it's got: Z28 Hood (I have the original hood too, if you want it) New seats (front and back) New carpet New headliner New(ish) dash New door panels (in boxes) New center console (installed today) New console pan and lid Edelbrock carb Chrome valve covers Chrome PCV breather Looks like a new A/C compressor (I can't vouch for that, but my guess is it's a recharge at Jiffy Lube and you're good) New hood to cowl seal (in boxes) New trunk lid weatherstripping (in boxes) New roof rail weatherstripping (in boxes) New rubber bumper kit for door, hood, trunk, glove, console (in boxes) New door weatherstripping w/ clips and molded ends (in boxes) New original style window weatherstripping (in boxes) This car also has a lot of original parts - steering wheel, 3 out of 4 hub caps, interior molding, etc. A bunch of stuff you probably don't need, but hey! I'm throwing it in anyway. The interior of this car is super nice. It's not show condition, my friends, but it definitely has that new car vibe. You get to finish it up so you can tell people you partially restored it for unlimited street cred. This is a win-win. It's also stripped and ready to paint, although to be honest, the sanded down patina vibe is so cool - that's kind of what drew me to it originally. It's pretty damn tough. Here's the video it was in, for a huge DJ called The Bloody Beetroots, called "Rocksteady" and has been seen by almost 2 million adoring fans. The car looks like it gets pretty abused, but it was all just good fun and a little bit of movie making magic. http://youtu.be/KSqttO3NtCg I'm starting the bidding at $1,999.00 the rest is up to you. Good luck.
