I have a 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 Wagon that runs and drives well. All original....I also have the original wheels. Has a great Patina with a few dents that gives it character! Car has a 289 that runs real smooth and we just put new exhaust on it so it purrs real nice. Wheels are Ridler 18" wheels brand new with brand new Z rated Falcon tires. New brakes, distributor, fuel pump & filter, new radiator and overflow tank, carb rebuilt, new taillights and lenses. Car originally came from Sunnyvale Cali...originally the famous Holiday Ford on El Camino Real now Sunnyvale Ford. Spent the rest of its life in Colorado. Looks like a time capsule inside its so original. I still know the original owners son and have original owners manual. This is a very cool old wagon that runs and drives very good. This wagon has a factory 289 V-8 backed by a Cruise-O-Matic auto transmission. This awesome old wagon only has 72,000 miles and the nice stock interior shows it! The seats and dash are in good shape along with a very nice stock steering wheel. The cargo area is very clean. Seats look to be all original covers in good shape...the interior is unmolested as is the whole car. Am Radio even works! All lights and gauges work. The glass is all in great shape and the factory power rear window still works great. This car even has a nice factory roof rack that is hard to find these days. Chrome is all there, even all the emblems. The body is in decent shape but does have some rust in the rear lower quarter behind the driver side rear tire. This panel is the same on a 4 door sedan car so quarters are available to fix it. This is just a really cool old wagon that runs great and has some hard to find parts on it! This would make an awesome surf style wagon bagged with a surfboard on the roof...or fix it up and make a great show wagon!
