2004 Bonneville GXP - This is a front-wheel drive vehicle PACKED with a North Star Cadillac engine. This vehicle packs a punch. When they shut down Oldsmobile, there was an opening in the GM line and suddenly they were putting a North Star engine in Pontiac's fastest car - the Bonneville. This is a great highway car.Car drives great in the snow since it is FWD. REASONABLE RESERVE. NON-SMOKER CAR. SUNROOF. I am only the 2nd owner and I am selling this BLACK BEAUTY because I need a 4X4 SUV to tow my boat this summer. Also I am out of depreciation for tax purposes, so it is time for you to buy this car. I purchased this car at auction in 2007 when the original owner's lease was up. It is my understanding the prior owner leased the car as part of a fleet to an Insurance Company. I purchase this car from a friend/dealer for $17,500 in 2007 when the car had 66K miles. The car has MOSTLY HIGHWAY MILES and it has been maintained. CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. A/C works great. Satelite factory radio, multiple CD cartridge in truck, wired for woofers in trunk. CAR STARTS AND RUNS GREAT. When starting the car I have ALWAYS let the RPMs drop below the warm-up phase and below 1 (1,000) before engaing the transmission. PAST MAINTENANCE-Steering Intermediate joint (works good, no popping), Radiator flush, new blower motor. Window tint installed when I bought. Heads-up display (reflector in front widshield) works great. Red operator panels lights has a cool effect. RECENT MAINTENANCE - Water pump, front bearings, right strut mount, motor mount, front brakes w/ ceramic pads (long mileage left), rear brakes OK, oil, transmission, etc. Reattached front end curb finder underneath. WORK NEEDED - to the best of my knowledge the car needs the following - new tires (good until the end of the summer, one tire out of balance from filling it with fix-a-flat then plugged), replace valve cover gaskets (minor leakage but get it fixed), AESTETICS as defined below. Stereo display screen burned out but replaceable for $100. I am NOT DETAILING the car - you will need to do this. One of the stability sensor broken since I owned the car, but I have lived with it, and never had it replaced or disconnected. AESTETICS - Area underneath gas-fill inlet/driver rear panel had rust, a typical defect for this gas-fill- its currently roughly patched and painted after applying rust remover, putty, and rough paint - you finish the job. A few minor dents around the perimeter, minor rear bumper from backing into a post (see pictures). All rims have some scratching from curb rubs. Front headlights plastic needs buffed and refinished. Other than noted no visible rust. Right rear tail-light lense chipped. Car will be vacuumed and washed and ready for you to pick-up. YOU WILL NEED A TEMPORARY LICENSE PLATE PERMIT AND INSURANCE TO DRIVE AWAY. The car will have the plates removed before you pick-up. ALL INSPECTIONS MUST BE CONDUCTED BEFORE THE END OF THE AUCTION AND BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. THE HIGHEST BIDDER AT THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION OWNS THIS CAR.
