Vehicle Detail
1974 DODGE DART SPORT 360 4-BBL Presented here for auction is a beautiful 1974 Dodge Dart Sport equipped with the high performance 360 4 Barrel engine. It is a factory built “L Code” machine and is just one of 3,800 360 Dart Sports produced in 1974. All original and full matching numbers including engine, trans and rear. The car presently sports an edelbrock performer carb, but the original numbers matching thermoquad 4-barrel carb is included. I also have lots of original paperwork including the build sheet, owner’s manual, sales literature, and ownership history back to 1976. What makes this car even more collectable is the astonishing number of factory equipped options including (Y01) Special Handling, (B41) Front Power Disc Brakes, (H51) Factory air conditioning that blows ice cold, R21 AM/FM Stereo with R31 Rear Speaker (both work), H31 Rear Air Defrost (also works), S13 Rallye Suspension package, N42 Dual Exhaust, A88 Interior Décor Group,C54 Split Bench with Buddy Seat, S77 Power Steering, G11 tinted Glass, E58 360 4-BBL (Police) motor and lots more. Try to find another 74 360 Dart like this. Chances are, none exist. The powertrain performs magnificently with lots of power and smooth shifting 727 transmission. All mechanicals work as they should. No smoke or funny engine noises. The interior is all original and is in very good to excellent condition with no rips in the upholstery. The body is in overall good condition and the paint shines nice but has a few flaws. The quarters were replace a long time ago, but the rest of the car is pretty solid. There is a small soft spot on the driver’s side floor, and a couple of bubbles starting in the 4” vertical seam where the rocker meets the quarter. Trunk is perfect and still retains the original spare and jack. Overall, a very nice driver. Here is your chance to own a truly rare and collectible, investment grade piece of automotive history for not a lot of money. I am now offering this car at NO RESERVE. HIGH BIDDER WINS, PERIOD. If you have less than 10 positive feedbacks, please e-mail me so that I know you are serious. There are way too many tire kickers, and I want to keep the bidding honest. As with all cars this old, there is no warrantee and is being sold in "as-is" condition. Please check my feedback as I have sold many other high dollar mopars all with happy customers. I can help with shipping on this end but the high bidder is responsible for all shipping costs. The car is available for inspection during the auction period. Once the auction is over and the reserve met, the high bidder is obligated to purchase the vehicle. Becoming the winning bidder is not an invitation to inspect the vehicle after the auction is over and deciding then if you want it or not. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours after the auction and the balance is due within 7 days. Also, I will provide the new owner with a bill of sale and clear, transferable title in the previous owner’s name. . Thanks for your consideration and good luck!
