I just got this little Beemer in a trade for my R1100S, and I'm selling it to recoup my investment. 1975 R60/6 with a rebuilt R75 motor and clutch, approximately 20K miles on rebuild, 70K on frame and wheels (?). Runs excellently, oil tight, previous owner rode it to my house in Avondale from Tucson (130 miles). Sounds great, very nice after-market mufflers, Corbin seat, small fairing, café racer look, nice paint on tank, fenders and side covers, small saddlebags, Haynes repair manual. Front forks were rebuilt, carbs were rebuilt, front fender looks new (!), two dents on right side header pipe and a couple of little dings in the tank. Will soon need rear tire, front is ok, but it's basically ready to ride. Battery held in tray by a bungee cord, I'll be looking for the proper retaining strap. A cute little vintage BMW motorcycle and a unique conversation piece for the discerning young gentleman (or lady?). Open AZ title, I can transfer to my name before selling, if desired.
