This 2011 Volkswagen GTI just got finished and is ready to sell. This car was previously lightly damaged in the front as seen in the final pictures. There was no frame damage, the front frame rails were not even touched. It looked as though this car drove under a truck. The items replaced include the front bumper, hood, right and left fenders, radiator support and the radiator. The cooling fans are original to the car and were not damaged in the accident. The replaced items were painted perfectly to match. The drivers airbag was replaced with a new airbag purchased from the dealer. The car runs and drives excellent and has no codes or warning lights stored. The wheels all have some curb damage which is typical with this particular design from VW but we included pictures to show any nicks. We can have the wheels refinished for an additional cost of $400 if needed but there is a 4 day turnaround from the wheel repair facility. Also the dash has a small nick on the right corner (pictured also) but barely noticable. Besides that the car is in excellent condition both outside and in. There are no warning or safety lights on or stored. We specialize in only Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche so as with all the vehicles we repair, we pay special attention to repair them to factory specs. If the vehicle is purchased by someone outside of California, this Certificate, a bill of sale and an itemized parts and repair list will be provided so registration in another state will be easier. No sales tax will be required if the vehicle is picked up by a transport company and a transport receipt is shown that it will be delivered from our address to the state it is sold to. Sales tax would be required if the buyer comes to our address and takes possesion of the vehicle himself. Sales tax can only be avoided if an authorized transport company picks the vehicle up and transports the vehicle out of state. If the vehicle is purchased in the state of California, we are required to turn the California Salvage Certificate in to the Dept. of Motor Vehicle and they assign the vehicle title an acquisition number (process takes approximately 7-10 days). This number has to be written on a bill of sale. With the bill of sale and the necessary safety inspections (brake, lamp and smog), the customer will be able to register the vehicle in California. If the vehicle is sold to a California buyer, we will have the inspections done and provide the certifications to the buyer. Sales tax will need to also be paid at the time of sale.
