You are viewing a 2002 Corvette Z06 in excellent condition. This car is completely original and unmodified. This car has been adult driven, stored in a climate controlled environment, and well maintained for the my period of ownership and operation of 4 years/18,000 miles. During my period of ownership, I have exclusively driven this car in Texas and California. The car is registered in Wisconsin, as I am a military officer and that is my home of record. This car is a very well balanced performer that is capable of 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and 1/4 mile times under 12 seconds according to the October 2004 issue of GM High Tech and Performance Magazine while managing to achieve 26+ hwy mpg and the daily drive-ability of any car currently on the road. This car comes very nicely equipped from the factory with black leather interior, heads-up display, power-seats, windows, mirrors, dual-climate control, and bose stereo. The interior exhibits very little wear and tear with the exception of a 3/8 inch split in the interior vinyl pillar between the windshield and the drivers window. This car has never been smoked in and still retains the smell of leather without any extraneous smells from food, liquids, or substances. This car is mechanically very sound. There are no leaks, no smoke, no weird smells, and does not burn oil. The rear tires were replaced 15,000 miles ago and have a long ways to go before replacement is required. The front tires will need to be replaced in 3-6,000 miles, while still remaining serviceable to drive. The brakes and rotors are in good condition with an estimated 15,000 miles left until replacement is needed. The clutch and transmission in this car is in great condition with no slippage and grabs very hard when driven and shifted in a spirited manner. The exhaust is the stock titanium exhaust exclusive from the factory for the Z06 and is excellently balanced between just throaty enough while not being obnoxious. The exterior of the car is original paint and is spectacular shape. The paint has few blemishes, nicks, scratches, or fading that would be characteristic of a twelve year old car. The extent of the issues regarding the exterior of the car is limited to two 1-inch scratches on the passenger side rocker panel below and behind the brake duct. I had purchased the car with these scratches and have never had anyone mention their presence due to the location and difficulty required to spot them. I have enclosed a photo of the rocker panel scratches. I am selling this car because I am leaving the military with a wife, one child, and another child on the way in September. This car has faithfully served its time as my daily driver for the last four years and has now reached the point of impracticality for myself and my family as we proceed into the future.
