This is a 1972 corvette 454 Convertible. I have owned this car around 30yrs. It has low original miles. It was a off-chassis restoration ,about 15yrs ago (I have a picture album,not included with sale).The car spent most of its life locked in the garage.It has NOT been out since last years pictures (see below).It still has the "original" matching number 454.I will include the Original build sheet (it was removed during restoration.) At a additional cost, you can take the black vinyl hardtop.It currently has classic car insurance on it.The undercarraige,is still in restored cond,as i have only driven the car from N.Y. to Maine,and back,and some local driving.The car is a absolute attention getter. I am selling the car as is. It is currently wedged in the garage (see last pictures.) It will most likely need a battery,and a cleaning. It has marks.blemishes here and there from age,and being stored in the garage. It would be a easy restoration for show quality,or use as it is. I will start the car for the new owner,and drive it out to the road.....that is it. It has a clean /clear N.Y. state transferable registration (in my name). This car has a one year only ,original Pewter Silver color (aprox. 1300 cars.) In 1972,there was only about 862 "454 Corvettes produced in hard top+Convertible models in 1972 (there were less convertibles,than hardtops,so the number would be less than half of 862).The build sheet has the car order number written on it,as does the transmission tunnel of the floor under the carpet.This is the last year for metal front and rear bumpers! The car was Never in a car show,or club........as i do not like the attention.The car never had the air cond. completley hooked up,it would need a belt,and charge for sure. The radio stopped working,possibly the fuse? Obviously i would like to have it out of the garage,which will be a several hour project ,with-in itself. I have seen identical cars to this ,on Barret Jackson Auctions (in poor cond, but complete) sell for One Hundred Thousand + . Please only inquire,if you are READY to buy.I have been contiplating selling this for years now,and may sell locally or change my mind,and end the auction early.I am NOT in hardship,ThankYou .This is a "True Collector Car",it is 41yrs new.The pictures will tell it all.
