For Sale by owner is a 1970 Malibu cloned to the specifications of the 1969 Chevelle SS. 454 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1970 CHEVELLE (clone) SS 2000 rotisserie professionally build & painted. Blue with pearl clear coat $7500. Painted by Tony Thomas in 2000 with exact 3-M stencils in white with pearl clear coat. New fenders, quarter panels, back clip, floor boards, good used doors & deck lid. Inner well wheels & rear panel assembly new metal. New front radiator support frame & bumper cover. Bumpers were new in 2000. Rocker panels also new. Epoxy painted all new surfaces, no bondo! All done right. Frame good used A-body with over 4 hours of professionally strengthened welded joints & seams. Global West front A arms & rear control arms. (Red line CV1 synthetic grease required). Delerum Global West joints in arms & new ball joints. Increased caster & camber arms for better wear & drivability. New Wilwood spindles, rotors, calipers (4-piston) also in rear (race caliber). All new grade 8 fasteners, stainless steel braided brake hoses. New steel brake lines throughout frame, all new fasteners. New Wilwood master cylinder & proportioning valve with new metering block on frame. New brake booster last year. New Varishock coilovers in front with 3 performance settings from a thumb knob. These all completely adjustable in heights with wrench. New polyurethane sway bar bushings & bolts. New 12 bolt Moser rear end (Saturday night special) with 3.42 gear ratio in a positraction housing. New Wilwood 4 piston brakes with built-in hub parking brake. New drive shaft with heavy duty joints in 2000. American Racing torque-thrust D all around 15x8.5 and 15x10 shod with BF Goodrich 235x60 and 295x50. Engine: 1970 454 LS5 360hp bored 10 over. After rebuild, estimated hp around 400 with torque above 500 ff lbs. Block professionally built with balanced & blueprinted internals. Cast crank & pistons. Edelbrock cam, intake (ported) & lifters. 101cc stock heads with pro 3 angle valve cut. 9.3 to 1 compression ratio with all new ARP fasteners throughout. All rod & main journals within .002 of difference in size (race caliber). Melling high volume oil pump & pickup. Clevitte Michigan 77 bearings throughout. Cloyes heavy duty sprocket, gear & double roller chain with new bolts. Wiend water pump long housing. 8’ fluidampner balancer new in 2000. Original rebuilt 750 cfm quadra jet carb in 2012, spread bore design. New highflo Mr. Gasket thermostat, intake gaskets in 2012. New pulleys in 2000 and new Dr. Amp 130 amp alternator with custom rewired engine harness & relays. DUI custom build HEI high energy ignition with custom wire. Livewire custom spark plug wires & heat resistant plug boots with harnesses. New Edelbrock high volume fuel pump, rod & braided hosed with aluminum fittings. New pulleys on pump, alternator & crank. Be Cool Radiator (1000 hp rated) with reliable Stall fans with heavy duty relays. Custom wired 8 gauge throughout. Mobil 1 oil & filter always used since new 1990 with estimated 29,000 miles on motor. New speedometer in 2000 with only 6600 miles since then. Remotely relocated oil filter under driver’s side wheel well along with same assembly for transmission filter under battery tray on passenger’s side of wheel well. Under the hood is a new Marine Crown battery just last year. Hooker 2” ceramic coated competition headers with 3.5 exhaust. Stage 8 non-loosening bolts with copper solid gaskets. Flomaster aluminized 2.5” complete exhaust with Delta 40 American Thunder series mufflers, finished with stock oval exhaust tips. Transmission: Griffith Indiana build TPI 700R with full lock-up torque converter. 4 speed transmission with overdrive & conversion on shifter handle @ console. Corvette bands, discs, servos with 2800 rpm stall B&M torque converter. 450hp rated 500 ff lbs torque trans. Custom overdrive detent cable with fully adjustable shift modes. Professionally setup with pressure gauge for long life. Completely self contained or if you choose, hand shift for maximum rpm. Synthetic B&M trans fluid only! B&M transmission cooler with braided lines with Sureflo cooler under radiator for added assurance. 3 inch custom built drive shaft heavy-duty joints & custom fasteners. Custom gauges for transmission temp, engine water temp since stock engine gauge senses head temp. Oil pressure gauge to keep eye on internal bearing condition in the engine. Interior: New stock SS dash & tachometer (6500 rpm). Auto meter gauges in console. New dash pad. Overdrive conversion to horseshoe shifter. Alpine CD player with Satellite Sirius & antenna. All JL Audio sound system, 6 ¾ Z series in kick panels. 6x9 with custom sound boxes under package shelf. JL 12” subwoofer custom built to specifications box under package shelf.
