Great little Honda Dream 305. Starts easily and runs well.. just out of storage since 1985.. aquired from an estate.-Gas tank cleaned and caswell sealed-new carb-new battery-clear title ive ridden the bike locally but i would go over it to be safe.and its almost 50 years old. all electrical works as it should,electric start is strong, as are the horn and lightsmileage may be true 241,title shows 1 mile at time of purchase and speedo works.. story is that the previous owner bought it,rode it very little because he was scared of it. he stored it.then in 1985 he registered it again,patched the rusted muffler bottoms,got it tuned and tried to ride it againonly to put it back in storage to be forgotten about. it has nicks and chips in the paint ,,but still looks great..with a little elbow grease this thing could be cherry payment in full in 7 daysbuyer to pay shipping heres my answer to the common question of : " Is it all ready to go.????"" "this bike runs and drives fine,, but i dont want anyone to get the impression that they can buy this,,ride across the country.this bike is original and in good shape,,not restored.. ive flushed it all out,ridden it about 25 miles in 7yrs of ownership..its always does wellwith fresh gas and a new battery when ever i pulled it out of storage before,thinking i was going to sell it,but as something this old gets driven,,things will come upits almost 50yrs old.. id expect to change things in the future like the rear tire,,cables,,brakes,,you know..the wearables.. But whoever buys this shouldbe prepared to do constant upkeep and learn about the bike..its not like a new Honda,, it requires owner involvement, as any old car or bike would..BUT its still a HONDA,the most reliable and easy to get into of any bike this old... Its well supported with many groups & website devoted to it, plus great parts availble NOS and reproduction.But owning anything this old will require you getting your hands dirty...Even with all the $$ in the world to repair it,,you still gotta be hands on with this bike..its sort of the point of having something old.. Hands on involvement,,intimate knowldge and connection with your machine"_______________________________________________________________________________________________________** UPDATE** I recieved a new carb rebuild kit in the mail yesterday that i ordered before i decieded to sell the bike.i ultra sonic cleaned the original carb and rebuilt it with a new HONDA kit and installed it with new o-rings & gaskets.a new grey original style throttle cableAnd the bike runs better than ever,, clean, smooth idle and crisp acceleration ..it runs better and better everytime i ride it,it seems the cobwebs are all blown out,now this bike shows me its low mileage,purrs like a kitten and has no hesitation.still needs cleaning up,but a super fine bike.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________you are encouraged to come see the bike shop video and video of the Dream running and driving,the one for sale is the one that pulls away first
