Vehicle Description: 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible: I am selling this Corvair for NO RESERVE. Email me! OK now for the car description... Car is equipped with -Automatic Transmission -Convertible Top Mileage is 51,110 and is believed to be true and correct. I am not an expert by any means but will do my best to describe this car and I will be happy to answer any questions. Just email them. I also encourage the prospective buyers to view the car first if possible? Or have someone look at it for you. Vehicle Condition: Interior: -Original Blue Interior (All Original Seats in car) -Seats are in good condition -Only seat issue is drivers seat seam thread separated (see Photo) -Padded Dashboard is cracked from sun exposure and needs replaced -Interior carpet is Original and NEEDS replaced. On driver side, carpet is fraying and dry, pulls apart from vacuuming. Top: -Top canvas appears to be original and is in average condition. No holes and back window looks good and clear but trim around window is dry rotted. Very usable as is. (See photos). Top will be down more than up anyway, right?? Exterior: Car is painted a dark metallic blue. Paint condition on car is fair at best. NEEDS repainted to be nice. Hood and deck lid are sun faded and checked/crazed in spots, also with various chips here and there around the car. Sides, doors and fenders are nice. It is Driver paint/ 25 footer -Bumpers are very nice. No rust and Chrome has no pitting and a Good Shine. A few dull spots here and there but nothing to worry about. -Car appears to be RUST Free on the body and very straight -Underneath there is some surface rust and the driver side floor pan is thin in spots. -Looks to be minor repair in my opinion (See photos of underside) -TIRES are NEW last year with no miles on them -NOTE: Rear Grill is missing and not included with auction NOTE: This Corvair has been off the road since 2006. It starts right up, runs and drives but will need all items like... brakes, Fluids, hoses, lights etc. safety checked before use. Can be driven onto trailer with no problem. A lot of car for the money and a great starter car to restore as you drive and enjoy it. SUMMER is HERE!! Current replaced Parts: -Fuel tank was replaced a few years ago with new sending unit.
