This is a 1989 911 Carrera 4. It is a clean title true 69K mile car. I bought this car to restore due to the low milage and that it had not been molested. It is a straight car that runs and drives as it should. The car is very tight. If you know Porsche I do not need to explain how these cars drive... I do not want to sell this car but other priorities have come up and it needs to go. I will not give this car away. The reserve is very fair. As you can see from the pics the car needs paint as the clear is peeling in multiple areas. Tires on the car a 80% All wheel drive works correctly, When I bought the car I installed a new alpine CD player (Speakers need replace original in car are not good). I do still have the original blaupunkt unit with amp that was not working. Since I have owned the car I have rebuilt the distributor and completed the valve adjustment in the last 1K miles. Many other small items / repairs. The car does have the normal oil leaks. (have not got to yet) AC blows cold. Sunroof needs a new cable on one side and does not open. (Motor does actuate) The windshield does have a crack. Power window / Locks etc all work correctly with no issue. I was not aware of this. This is the response I have been sending to that and other questions. I am working to upload more pics as well. Engine, Interior under hood carpet etc. Sorry for any confusion just want to be clear. I would venture to say the odometer note has to do with when I bought it in MI and titled in OH they listed as vehicle exceeds mechanical limits due to tranfer and no warranty. I can send you the copy of the carfax I pulled when I purchased. I can send some pics of the engine. I called all the dealers on the carfax to get history but did not reveal much due to age and dealer data systems changes. (From what I was told). The car was painted previously which explains the clear coat issue but I have not been able to find why or signs of damage. Does not appear that the door truck or hood jams were painted. Yes the hood shock is out. under 20 bucks and yes a 10 min fix. I never did a PPI. Bought it from EBAY. Went looked at it / drove it and drove it the 3 hours home home. It was the right miles and planned on doing the body work etc myself. Car runs and drives great. I have debated on going through with the resto as I see what they bring completed. If it does not sell this may be my next option. Again dont really want to sell it but we just puchased a home in a subdivision and other projects are in front of me. Oil leaks that are comon are what I have found. Planned on the upgrade to the turbo valve covers to cure that issue. other than that some sepage from the oil lines. The only other I noted was the front trans seal leaks. Found this when I had it up on ramps in the rear working on the valve adjusment. For whats its worth when I bought it felt the car had been neglected not beat. .. Which is what made my decision to purchase. - grapebird33
