We recently purchased this bike at an estate type sale ... the previous owner recently passed away and had a collection of several dozen "project" motorcycles that the family decided to sell - this was one of the bikes that was intact and original (as far as we can tell). She is called the Minsk Wildcat 125 and was manufactured in the capital of Belarus - Minsk. The family did not know much about this bike - other than she had sat in one of the owner's sheds for close to 15 years or so - as you can see from the nice patina (see pics). We are not sure what year she is; however, given the fact that the fenders are plastic, she may not be as old as she appears (80's or early 90's maybe ?!?!). We cleaned the carbs up and poured new pre-mix gas in her and after several kicks, she fired up and ran good. She now consistently fires-up after only the 1st or 2nd kick and goes through her 4 gears smoothly. Based on how nicely the motor runs, we are guessing she does not have many miles/hours on her ... but then again, we are not sure as there is no odometer (please disregard the zero "0" in the item specifics as eBay requires a number and we did not know what to put in there - same with the title ... "No Title" is not one of the choices). One of her front forks in leaking oil along with one of her rear shocks. Her brakes need attention and will likely need to be replaced/fixed - they definitely slow the bike down but not as well as they should. Her tires still hold air but they are definitely pretty dry-rotted and should be replaced if you plan on riding her a lot! We are selling her with NO RESERVE, just a minimum and cheap bid of $250!
