Vehicle Detail
Hi Folks, Thanks for stopping by to look at my 1966 Mustang. Here is the back story. I have known this car for about 16 years. It was my best friends and his dad's for about 9 years. They own a local service station in my town and have been like my step family growing up. It has spent its life in doors in one of there service bays for years and years. It has had a completely rebuilt engine which cost about $5000 ten years ago and since they chair the local technical schools autoshop/autobody program, they had it completely redone with PPG basecoat clear coat and it looks super glossy and deep. They spared no expense. Of course the shocks (which you can see in the pics) brakes, Tires (brand new) Rims (Brand New), and interior (which looks new; including the headliner, carpet, seat covers and dash pad. The paint was done probably 12 years ago and stilll looks great. They sold the vehicle to a local customer who purchased it for her son for a Christmass present (I just didn't have the money then to buy it). Sad story...the son died only abuot two months after the mother purchased the car for him in a tragic motorcycle accident. So this car sat in her garage for about the last 7 years. When she finally decided to sell it she called my adopted family at the service station and they let me know....the rest is history. I jumped at the opportunity to buy this. I sent it back to the garage and we went over the whole car including the cooling system (new water pump, thermostat, etc.). Since it was owned by very good mechanics, every gauge works and even the interior light funtions as it should as you open the door. Don't forget the new mustang rims with center caps ($1200), and new tires ($550), new bumpers and bezels ($450), and tons of other upgrades.... So I have had it for the last year and well...I have just run out of room. I purchased a SSR and have finished restoring a 1972 Blazer and just can't let this car sit outside since it has spent most of its life indoors. So..this is your chance to own a really nicely restored car. I will try to describe it as honestly as I can as my Ebay reputation depicts so here it goes. It has a little bit of paint buble on the right lower fender (probably about $300 to fix and blow in), needs a interior window crank handle on the drivers side, and a horn kit for the $220 woodwheel that I put one. Other than that, for the money I am going to list it for - it''s for free. Don't miss a great opportunity to own a car that starts right up, drives really nice and straight down the road, is very dependable, and looks really good. I could easily list this for $15,995 but am going to put it for the $12995 that I need...so don't dally...and hit the buy it now button if you want it...its a good one! Please call me with any questions that will help you bid with confidence, Sean 267-767-4780 Vehicle is being shown locally so I reserve the right to end the sale early unless the buy it now has been utiliized. On Apr-03-13 at 18:40:48 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok...some great news....IF the buy it now button is utilized, my family's service station will install "POWER" brakes, which means you will get a car that has Power Steering, and power brakes and rides and drives like a dream! SeanOn Apr-06-13 at 13:30:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok folks..I have reduced the car to 10995....that is my bottom. I have had two folks come by to see it, and liked the car (you know who you are). I figured I would save everyone concerned the haggling and make it a deal for someone looking for a great mustang. I offered to add a power booster for the brakes ($250 cost item) at the original buy it now price of 12995, but obviously not at the now reduced $2000. If you like it hit the button, as this is my lowest. If not, thank you for looking. Best, Sean267-767-4780
