Vehicle Detail
GMG Header with Cats Movit CER brake system - 396mm front rotor I have owned this car since October of 2010. I am the second owner. The original purchaser bought the car from Park Place Porsche in Dallas in March of 2010. Original buyer ended up purchasing a GT2RS and selling this car to me. Original factory warranty in effect until March of 2014. I am selling as I am in the queue for the new GT3. If I am unable to find a willing buyer for the car as it stands, I will take the car to RAC Performance to help me sell, but will likely ending up taking the car back to stock and selling the take offs separately. The following is the as built configuration of the car from Porsche: Option Option Class Description BASE Porsche Base Model A4 Grey Black 78 Black Full Leather XME Rear Ctr Cons Painted Extr Clr XSC Porsche Crest in Headrest 474 Front Axle Lifting System 490 Sound Package Plus 619 Bluetooth Phone Interface 810 Floor Mats in Interior Color 841 3spoke Sport Steering Whl Lthr 870 Universal Audio Interface 25851 Seat Stitching Deviating Color A4 Grey Black P23 PCM 3.0 w/ Extended Navigation 24901 Dashboard Stitching Dev. Can be cleaned and reused.Trailer receptacle & hitch - I originally had the dealer install to haul my track wheels behind the car in a lightweight trailer. After a couple of such trips, I have ended up hauling the car on another trailer.Clear Shield - This was originally installed by the first owner. Great protection. I recently replaced the clear shield on the hood and front bumper as it had gotten a little tattered in spots. The paint underneath appeared like new. Good stuff.GMG Exhaust Header with Cats - I chose to have this installed after reviewing the dyno results performed by RAC Performance on a similarly equipped car. The dyno indicated that the header combined with the center muffler delete added about 25 hp to the output of the car or around 475 hp.Movit CER Brake System - By far the most expensive I did to the car. Original cost of the system was over $27,000. The rotors are solil carbon ceramic material that can be machined if it is every needed. Front rotors are 396 mm and are 40 mm thick. Rears are 380 mm and slighted thinner than the fronts. The rotors are unlikely to ever wear out and Movit is prepared to make new hats for the hats so you can take the system to your next Porsche. Calipers were painted custom by Movit to match the color scheme of the car. Pads are expected to last 2 1/2 times longer than regular pads. Pads are much larger than stock pads due to design of calipers and larger rotor size. Rear pads can be changed without removing the caliper unlike stock calipers. Stopping power is awesome. Movit also has solved the tapering of front pads common with the stock system. I am also including a brand new set of pads. I don't think you will need them for some time.Numeric Shifter - Solid metal shift mechanism with throw adjustable without removing the shifter. Very solid shift feel over stock. Stock shifting mechanism is largely plastic.Tarret suspension items - Greatly improves directional precision of the suspension without unduly increasing the harshness of the ride on the street. I am also including all the take off stock items to allow you to take the car back to stock condition. I have attended 3 to 4 driver education events in this car per year since I purchased it, so it has some track miles on it. Condition issues on the car are very minor because of the clear shield on the car. There is some road rash in front in front of the rear wheels above the stock protective film. There are a couple of scratches on the threshold of the driver's door entrance. Both have been touched up. There is a rub mark on the roll bar on the outbound driver's side. The windshield has two extremely small nicks in the glass. $5,000 deposit via Paypal required within 24 hours of auction close. Balance due prior to pickup in seller acceptable funds. _gsrx_vers_486 (GS 6.5.1 (486))
