Hi Folks, I am listing this for my friend that actually has two different GS Bikes. This one is a super clean 1982 (FIRST YEAR for the infamous Katana) 550M. It has brand new tires (worth over $600) with the labor. It was rescued a few years back from storage for many years in the basement of an enthusiest. For this reason, it is in above average shape for the age of the bike without the signs of rust and weathering. I can tell you personally that it runs strong and starts up almost instantly with the starter is engaged. The bike has about 2000 miles on it only, but the speedo head went bad and it was changed with the one that was in the picture showing 18K. Look at the condition of the pipes and overall bike and you will see that it has low miles. Either way, due to the age being over 10 years, it has to be sold exempt. It runs strong, hits the road nicely, and has a great look with that famous round headlight and great color scheme.
