Bring a trailer for this one....When was the last time you saw one of these? Original paint 1970 Ford Corina GT, black interior, 4 speed, 2 door. This car has not been garaged its whole life, however, it has all of its original panels, original paint, and is a perfect canidate to go do some ralley racing...Check out the rear view mirrors on the front fenders, original English Walpres 30560 rear view mirrors, Raydyot Ralley driving lites, and, Lucas headlights..... The engine spins over, and, there is no hole in the block or oil pan. The engine is complete all the way to the wing nuts on the air cleaner. 4 speed goes in gear, and, the emergency brake works. I have a key for it, but, it does not work the ignition, it does however work the doors and trunk. I have removed the locking ignition system from the column to steer the car. I put new American made radials on the stock rims, stock rims have some browning that should clean up, rims have no curb rash or bends... Rust is in the tops of the strut towers, tops of fenders, lower quarters at the rear...( see pictures).....The structural part of the towers is in excellent shape, the sheet metal upper aprons have rust....I hear this is common.. All the vin plates are in place, the one in the door jamb is scraped a little but, the rear part of the vin and production date are visable, the dash plate is there, as well as the date/vin plate under the hood... Floors and trunk are very nice, some small pits on the passenger side that go through, about the size of pencil in a couple of areas. This looks to have been a California car its whole life, rear blue/gold license plate matches the title (pink slip) and, this car looks to have had a vinyl top on it originally...it is now gone, the roof is in excellent shape, no dents or rust...the glue has left the paint damaged, or burned, where the vinyl top was, but, like I said the roof metal is in excellent shape... Yes, the interior trim has seen its better days, Mr. sun has taken its toll, but, the good news is the metal and, plastic on the seats are in very good shape, the head rest are in very good shape...I removed and tossed the carpet to get a good look at the floors.. Some of the center console is missing, don't know where it went, don't know what it looks like.... This car has been off the road since 1986..... I have the rear bumper/brackets, and the tail light trim...the rear bumper is bent up a bit, as well as the brackets, the tail light trim needs restored.... No reserve auction!
