Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is an old 4x4 Chevrolet 3/4 Ton Bonanza farm truck that runs and drives. The good part is that it was bought new in '78 and owned by the same person up until a couple of months ago when I bought it. Some of the original paperwork is still in the glove box. 4x4 works, motor runs good, transmission shifts fine, the truck runs fine, the seat doesn't have any rips, the dash isn't cracked up, brand new battery, distrbutor is fairly new, gas gauge works, tires are fair, truck has a fifth wheel in it, brakes work fine. Steering has a lot of play in it, the body is rusted out pretty bad, the speedometer doesn't work, the gear indicator doesn't work, radio doesn't work, the truck is equiped with ac but I don't know if it works, blower speed sometimes works. Brake lights work and all the headlights work. The turn signals do not work. The is just an old cheap 4x4 farm truck. I wouldn't drive this truck to California nor would I trust to drive it down the road for any long distance. Who knows what might happen. I did have a mechanic look it over quickly to make sure it It is good for tooling around the farm and maybe driving up to the store for coffee, or maybe restoring with new sheet metal. I wouldn't drive it home unless you live within 30 miles of here or unless you have a buddy follow you home in case something happened to the old truck. I would bring a trailer and take it home. Truck is sold as-is. On Mar-12-13 at 08:03:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Milage is not correct. I don't know when the speedo stopped working. Call me if you have any specific questions. 270-889-7264. Auction will run its full course. No reserve. High bidder wins. On Mar-12-13 at 08:05:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Also, I have 100% positive feedback, and plan to keep it. If you get here and don't want the truck, you don't have to buy it. It is that simple. It is what I have described (an old farm truck with its share of problems and good qualities).
