very rare highly collectible 1972 classic honda z600 coupe. 2 clyinder 600cc air colled engine, front wheel drive with 4 speed trans. very cool little car. this is the first car honda ever imported to our country before the civic was designed.... not too many left in existance and bring very big money when restored. i have read on forums cause there is some cult following to these, clubs etc that there is only about 1,000 cars left on the road...thats not too many think about it, now they pound that many out in 1 week on assembly lines.. ha. i restore classic cars, bikes etc and just had to have it when i seen it regardless of anything...well now i had about 1 yr and ran across a 1940 chevy truck who now gets my attn and would like to see someone get this baby going.. bought it from local owner who ran it til it developed a oil leak., then it sat in heated garage for about 10 yrs. i got it checked out and had it running in about 20 minutes..it runs great but did enfact have a oil leak just like he said which is coming from head gasket. never got around to it, but i have all parts to fix so thats good for you cause they are not easy to find nor cheap !! i got head gasket, all top end gaskets and exhaust gaskets you will need. also i thought, well while apart might as well put in new timing chain and tensioner too, so i got that. has elec fuel pump back by gas tank and it sounded kinda rough so i found one of them too..and some other parts im sure i forget. all the parts that go in engine dept like heater fan assembly etc front grille and push bar are all insude car. was taken apart to start work on... anyway body.... well body has a ton of dings and dents in it..front drivers side fender has rust crack down the side like thats where all water ran over the years... some rust on lower rear rocker in front of rear wheel pass. side... some surface rust here and there, but from what i read and seen this is a pretty solid car !! fllor pans are all good some surface rust again. the rockers looks good other than mentioned. all glass looks good, silicone smeared around back window are.all tires hold air, not too bad of shape..10 inchers !! has spare tire in compartment. chrome bumpers look pretty good, window crank on drivers side needs a little guide to work, comes off track. interior... is in great shape, no real holes in seats at all, a few loose stiches but very nice i think. no cracks in dash etc headliner looks great. no carpet.. clutch works good. brakes dont work due to sitting. all lights worked when i had running, gauges lit up and speedo and tach work !! i just putted around my yard a few laps with no brakes to make sure it all was good before spending too much.. cool little car and actually pretty roomy inside.. so if you want a very rare cool little..(literally) project this is it. i have very fair reserve and i have seen just engines right here on ebay selling for 1,800 bucks so i dont wanna part car out, cause it really could be fixed up to look great with not that much money.. my reserve is lower than just those engines i mentioned... so dont miss.i i know its missing a hood emblem, and i dont see any other major items, but please it may be missing a thing or 2 here and there as i got some parts in a box myself.. I just really thought this would be awesome to go cruise around town with and turn some heads cause your gaureenteed not to see another in your town probably ! would be neat for parades, advertising etc... i know i had alot of people see it and say.. i never even remember seeing them back in the day !! get her going and save huge money in gas.. actually pretty peppy when i drove it and i read again where they did tests on these and they got up to 110 mpg !! when driven under or around 30 mph in cities...and they will run up to 75 mph. it is a 2 cylinder inline engine that looks like motorcycle engine.. with very low miles at 45k.. too and a title which is hard to find !! thanks ...and ? please ask i will try to help, but im somewhat of a novice on these too other than what i said and learned when tinkering a little with it.. please read details below and if your a honda guy, check out my cherry trx250r i have for sale as well... car is for pick-up only in middleburg, pa 17842 snyder county. a fee of 10.00 will be added to total for me to get title notarized and put in your name...then you come pick up and finish papers in your town, alot quicker and easier. clean clear pa. title in hand. deposit for car is to be made within 24 hrs of auction end....then balance paid in cash only at pick up... would like car picked up within 7 days of winning. will need a small trailer... as with any used machine , it is sold as-is no warranites expressed nor implied. On Mar-11-13 at 15:08:43 PDT, seller added the following information:evryone keeps asking me to sell parts off this car..i will not sell parts. it all goes as a whole and can be restored, thats how i want it. all the new parts i have for it already cost me over 750 bucks alone too, so no i wont end car for rediculous offers like 700 bucks etc, so dont ask unless its a serious offer. my reserve is very fair as i said and these cars are very rare and valuble with a little work and anyone into them knows this..thanks..
