I purchased this beauty about 3 years ago. Bike wasn't looking presentable but sounded good. Bike was going to be my daily commuter to NYC, so decided to spent some money and refresh this good old machine.Title shows 165322, it should show 16,532.2m. Dmv made misteake and previous owner didn't want to pay to correct the title. Today bike shows 33336. I never transfer the title or obtained registration. I use one plate for all my bikes, registration and insurance cost money. Bike was used few times, no more than 30 miles since rebuild. Here is what was done to this bike during last 2-3 years.. 1. Engine - rebuild heads - honed cylinders - new Deves rings installed - new crank seal - new rubber parts/gaskets - mega wash - rebuild carbs installed - new air and oil filter installed 2. Tranny - flushed with new oil. - shifter seal replaced with new. - new neutral switch installed. - good wash 3. Frame/chassis - new chrome - new bearings - frame, sub-frame, swing arm, headlight ears were powder coated black. - wheels rebuild with new spokes and bearings. - original seat ( shows some surface rust here and there, but this is how I want to keep it) - Fuel tank ( /7 tank to give more sporty look) - fenders, tank, battery covers painted with correct monza blue Glassurit Paint. Stripping covered under clear coat. - Rebuild front forks- original springs. - Progressive rear shocks - many new cables and other parts. - rebuild master cylinder - new rear brakes ( EBC) 4. Final Drive - new main seal - Good wash 5. Electrics - all in working order - new sealed battery - engine oil pressure switch .............and much, much more. All part fom BOBS, Max BMW, Ebay and Capital cycle.. Pictures don't show center stand and choke cables and handle. I have the parts and they will be installed by end of the week.
