1975 Chrysler Cordoba - 2 Door Coupe - V8 - 2 bbl. Carb - AC - 45,888 Miles I know it's going to be hard to prove the mileage as I have no service records. The gentleman I bought it from purchased the car almost 26 years ago from the original owner. When I saw the car 4 months ago, he had the original title dated in 1975. Since he signed his name in the "buyer" section of the title, he had to get a new title under his name in order to transfer or resell it. I told him that before he retitles the car to make a copy of the title to show the one owner status. He forgot, and I bought it 3/8/13. His plan was to restore it, but now the kids are in college and he lost the garage space 3 years ago. The registration and inspection sticker are from 1987. It has been somewhat maintained and driven once a year, but it's time for a new owner. I drove the car (from where the photos were taken) 10 miles to my location. I was impressed. This car is going to the highest bidder! No Reserve! No Buy It Now! Please Don't Ask! Brakes feel fine, strong motor (plenty of pep) and tranny. No smoking, misfire, noises or slippage. When cold you need to feather the accelerator pedal or it will hesitate. The "soft Corinthian leather" is in excellent condition under the plastic slipcovers. Brake pedal shows very little wear. Body is straight - paint is a little flat - some minor rust spots (as pictured) - chrome is good - small crease in the passenger side trunk deck. Great heater. Windshield wipers do not work! Therefore, the car will not pass NY State inspection. You can drive this car home! Don't drive it home on a rainy day! I truly believe the vehicle has 45,888 original miles. It really runs and drives like it has low miles too! Gauges all work - has one headlight out. AM/FM radio with 8 track tape player. Because it will not pass NY inspection ... New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will easily pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy.
