1978 Honda CR250R Elsinore/Moto-X-Fox Factory Race Bike Paint/Powder Coating: Tank: Tank was sent to Ric Tipton of Tipton Tanks, where it was painted to the exact specs that the Fox factory used in the 70's on their factory race bikes. Frame: Stripped and powder coated in gloss Hubs: Bead blasted and powder coated flat finish black, and brake plates were bead blasted and powder coated semi gloss black. Motor: Cases, head, and cylinder were bead blasted and refinished with high temp. ceramic engine coating to OEM spec. Engine: Complete total Rebuild...every part was brought back to Honda spec wether it needed it or not. All new seals, gaskets, bearings, etc. Re-lined stock cylinder New forged 2 ring race piston & rings Carburetor is new Mikuni, taper bored with black slide, and tuned for performance V-Force high performance reeds Exhaust: Pipe is a brand new N.O.S. DG fitted with a hand made re-packable RC type aluminum silencer Air box: Hand made aluminum by KLP Racing with new dual filter, and Denton air box ring in black Swingarm: NOS Fox Factory swingarm(this is the extended one, 1" longer then stock) with a new Astleford chain guide New custom aluminum rear tourqe arm from Denton Engineering Electrical: Brand new PVL complete ignition system Suspension: Fox Factory front forks were completly disassembled, inspected and rebuilt with new seals and the highest quality low friction suspension fluid. Lowers were clear coated with new decals....These forks are MINT!!! Forks were fitted to frame with a custom made set of triples that are an exact copy of the Fox triples, with the Fox head logo machined into the bar mounts Shocks are 17.5'' Fox Factory Piggyback shocks, that were completly disassembled, and rebuilt with new seals, wipers, stops, highest quality suspension fluid and re-charged with nitrogen. The suspension is set up for a 185-200lb pro/expert rider. Wheels: Brand new Sun gold anodized rims, stainless steel spokes, and new bearings on both front and rear. Dunlop D756 tires front and rear(NEW) Misc: New old stock rubber parts on tank, carb and intake boots Cables are new Terry teflon on front brake and clutch Throttle cable is OEM adjustable, with a quick turn billet gasser from Terry Cable(NEW) New 520 DID black chain, black aluminum rear sprocket, and new front sprocket Front and rear motor mounts are heavy duty aluminum made by Denton Engineering Plastics: Front and rear fenders are from VMX Racing Number plates/Side panels are OEM and painted by MX Restoration Seat: Seat is NOS Honda with the Moto-X-Fox logo painted onto the sides Controls: Lever are new Magura Power Levers, new Pro-Taper Windham RM mid bars, NOS Moto-X-Fox grips, and a new Fly billet black kill button. Hardware: All hardware on this bike including the axles and pivot bolt are hand made dished RC type stainless made by Denton Engineering I have well over $16,000 and countless hours into this bike...reserve is set WAY below my cost!!!!
