Vehicle Detail

This auction is for a 2003 Honda Civic. The car has 191,843 miles on it, however around 178,000 miles I replaced the engine with an engine that had only 66,000 miles on it. So the engine is still in good condition. The transmission was also replaced (about 20,000 miles after the engine) with a transmission of about the same milage. I haven't really driven it much over the last year, because I bought a new car. I couldn't sell this one until now because I was still paying this one off. I have all auto-repair documentation. Now, that being said, this car was running 3 months ago when i went to get emissions checked but when I tried to start it recently, I could not get it to start, the engine will turn, but just not catch. Reguardless, the car needs a bit of work. *As the picture shows, the side mirrors are knocked off. I have purchased replacements, just have not put them on. *The motor mounts need to be replaced ($150) *Radiator fan needs to be replaced ($200) *The fuse box mount needs to be replaced and the wires replaced (?) *The front bumper is currently being held on with zipties ($200) much cheaper if you get one from a junkyard. *The check engine light is on, and has been since the transmission was replaced. The place that installed it said they only replace, not repair. They were supposed to submit my claim to the place they got the transmission from to get some trouble shooting parts or a new transmission to switch it out, but they never followed through, and never asked for payment, and I was so unhappy with them, I was going to look elsewhere and ended up buying a new car instead. But, they believed it was a matter of a faulty sensor. *Some cosmetic damage, ie. dents/scratches. This car is not pretty, however, if you work on cars, or know someone who can do work cheap, it shouldn't take much more than $800-$1200 for parts to fix up. And the engine has plenty of miles still on it. I was going to fix it up myself, but I just don't have the time/money to put into it and it doesn't look like I will any time soon. I looked up engines for this car, and they run between $800-$1200. So it's not just an engine, however, if you are buying it just for the engine, then there is that. This car is sold as is, if you have any questions or what to come see it, let me know if you want to arrange something.
