Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1972 Monte Carlo, it has been in my family for roughly eight years. A complete frame-on restoration was completed in 2005. It has only been driven on the weekends in nice weather. Factory options include: 350 4bbl (J code), automatic, N10 sport steering wheel, full factory gauges with tachometer - all gauges work, factory air conditioning - blows ice cold, power steering, power disc brakes, rear defroster, rally wheels, bucket seats, center console. This car is a great driver that shows well. It is not a 1000 point restoration, but the price reflects that. The drivetrain has approx. 8K miles since being rebuilt. The engine is a non matching # 1970 350 4 bolt main, bored .030" over with flat top pistons. It has a mild Comp Cams hydraulic camshaft with matching lifters & valve springs. The cylinder heads are the the correct 72' 993 casting heads and have been completely rebuilt. Factory intake manifold and Quadrajet carburetor sit on top. It has an original distributor with a Pertronix Ignitior II electronic ignition conversion - plus the matching coil and plug wires. For the exhaust - ceramic coated Patriot mid length headers and a 2.5" mandrel bent dual exhaust system. It runs on regular gas and delivers decent gas mileage. The transmission is a rebuilt TH350 with a mild shift kit. Out back is the factory 2.73 geared 12 bolt rear that I recently resealed and added fresh fluid to. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, it has never let me down or left me stranded. It has been a great car, but I just do not have the proper place to store everything I own anymore. I am not interested in trades unless you have a nice 91' - 93' 454 SS or 94'-95' Lightning + cash. Recent new parts: Quanta gas tank and sending unit, Carter mechanical fuel pump, Fine Lines carburetor to pump - fuel line, Pertronix Ignitior II electronic points conversion with matching coil & plug wires from, ACC carpets, Exact Detail brake booster and master cylinder, battery, ignition key switch. Basically I have been freshening the car up and replacing anything that I felt was sub par. I have acquired some extra parts for this car over the years, for the buy it now price - they will be included with the car. I have nice original doors, fenders, headlight and tail light bezels, drip rail trim, rear bumper, interior parts, trim pieces, etc. If you are serious about buying the car and wish to ask some additional questions, I can be reached at (386)748-5297. I also have additional pictures that I can email. Reserve price is very low, bid to win.
