As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2003 Volkswagen Beetle Power/Electric Convertible has light all around body damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Exterior damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures. The power convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Also, looks like it bumped the oil pan underneath (see last pics below). The oil pan has a hole the size of a quarter. The oil pan is damaged but overall undercarriage in tact and no visible signs of other damage. Get a replacement oil pan for under $100 here on ebay. The car does start, go into gear and we were able to move it around within our lot. The engine runs hard due to very little to no oil in the engine. We cannot say if the engine is salvageable or not but one can first attempt to change the damaged oil pan and see how the engine behaves but again it does run hard. Passenger dash airbag is deployed. No suspension damage. Again, the car starts, engine runs hard due to damaged oil pan, but the car does start and go into gear. As seen in the pictures this nice looking 2003 Volkswagen Beetle Power/Electric Convertible has light all around body damage. This vehicle was directly purchased from insurance auctions for resale in the condition you see it on the pics. No middle man involved. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Exterior damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures. The power convertible top opens/closes with the push of a button. Also, looks like it bumped the oil pan underneath (see last pics below). The oil pan has a hole the size of a quarter. The oil pan is damaged but overall undercarriage in tact and no visible signs of other damage. Get a replacement oil pan for under $100 here on ebay. The car does start, go into gear and we were able to move it around within our lot. The engine runs hard due to very little to no oil in the engine. We cannot say if the engine is salvageable or not but one can first attempt to change the damaged oil pan and see how the engine behaves but again it does run hard. Passenger dash airbag is deployed. No suspension damage. Again, the car starts, engine runs hard due to damaged oil pan, but the car does start and go into gear. Many used parts can be found for this car at online junk yard database car-part or here on ebay. car-part is a source of used oem parts from many junk yards across the country. We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed).
