Vehicle Detail

1970 Dodge Coronet 2-door! Hard to find! All original sheetmetal and matching number 318 motor. It was a lifetime Georgia car until about 5 years ago. I got it from a guy in Alabama and brought it back to Georgia. The dents you see in the pictures are from debris flying around during a tornado. The car is all original with what appears to be one repaint in the original color several years ago. The factory color is dark burnt orange with the orange vinyl interior. It is pretty rare and hard to find. I was going to turn it into a Super Bee clone with a 440 or a 426 hemi. All of the body panels, floor pans, rockers, hood, doors, decklid, and quarters are all in great shape. The only metal I have seen that obviously needs to be replaced for sure is the center of the trunk pan, not even the whole thing. I am not sure what caused it to rust. I also have the build sheet (or broadcast sheet as it is sometimes called). That being said, I have no idea what you may find when you media blast the car or sand all of the paint off to restore the car. I cannot see under the paint. People that have restored cars before understand this. I do know that this is a very nice 1970 Coronet to start restoring. They are very hard to find in any condition. I have tried to point out any obvious issues. I am only selling the car because I have too many projects. There are no warranties, express or implied. I am selling the car in "as-is" condition. Make sure you are satisfied with the condition of the car before you bid or commit to buy the car. If you win the auction, I expect you to buy it. The car would be driveable with a tune up and maintenance of the brake lines, fluids, etc. It does start and you can move it around. I would not get on the open road unless you have serviced everything. You need to trailer the car if you buy it. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. Also - If you have less than 10 feedback, please contact me before you bid or I may cancel it. I will not pay to ship the car, but I will help get it to the transporter if needed. I do not have a title to the car, and it is currently registered in the state of Georgia. Georgia does not require titles on cars this old. I will give the buyer a copy of the registration along with a bill of sale. That should be enough to get a title and registration in your state if you do not live in Georgia. Chuck (678) 982-3502 No calls after 10pm eastern time. The car is in Cumming, GA 30040.
