DESCRIPTION:This auction is for 1 used 1985 Honda VF700F Interceptor. The odometer is showing 21k, however it is not the original gauge cluster. The frame, swingarm, forks, clips, and wheels all look straight, the tires are good, all the lights & gauges work. The horn works. The tank has a dent and a couple dings, the plastics are in very good condition. ALL the mounts are perfect except 1 pin is broken (I have it) on the left side cover, no cracks in any of the plastics. No road rash on the engine cases. It has a Corbin seat, and a newer battery. The gauges look new. There is a Michelin on the rear and a Pirelli on the front, both with plenty of tread left. New mirrors, front brake lever, oil & filter, coolant, brake fluid, O-ring chain, & LED plate lights. The rear fender has been eliminated, I modified it myself and it looks excellent. There are 2 keys, 1 for the ignition and 1 for the fuel cap, helmet lock, & seat release. The bike will pass inspection, and does have a valid 2013 New York State Inspection sticker on it currently.It starts right up and runs great, but it burns a little oil, leaks a little oil, there is a small exhaust leak at the collector, (may just be a connection), and second gear is damaged. It's choppy over 4000 rpm. I just wind it up a little in 1st, then shift right through 2nd to 3rd. I have a complete good transmission and a Honda factory repair manual that are included. This will be a great bike with a little work, I just don't have the time. Please look closely at the pictures, and ask any questions you want. I usually respond within an hour.
