This car has a transmission issue, it does not shift into 3rd gear( the transmission is very quiet and smooth, problem is not catastrophic). It has a few other small items that could be addressed before making it a daily driver. So, if I haven't scared you off please read on as this is a really neat car. Originally ordered, heater delete, and purchased from Shephred Cadillac/Oldsmobile of Oakland in July of 1956 by Mrs. Joe Edy. Car has been in California its entire life and is rust free. The mileage shown is original. As with any 57 year old car it has some paint chips and a few small dents. I hear it's called patina in some collector circles. The skirts are aftermarket and the tires are new Hankook. Engine runs smooth and strong with heads being updated for unleaded fuel. With power steering it drives nice and goes down the road straight. I've owned the car for almost 9 years and have only put about 50 miles on it (back and forth to a car show once a year about 2 miles away).
