If an item has an inaccurate description (we all make mistakes) - please notify us -- Thank you. Original VIN and Fender Tag: At Auction is a 1968 RoadRunner with 80,012 ACTUAL Miles - It was bought NEW locally in 1968 as a high school graduation gift and stayed within a 30 mile radius ever since ! Original owner kept the RR until the late 90's when it was sold to a "flipper" who repainted the engine compartment and exterior (Trunk still in Original Paint !), installed Legendary Seat Covers and Carpet and rebuilt the Engine and Transmission. Then a good friend of mine bought the car and had it until about 6 years ago when it became the wife's new "baby". It's been lovingly stored inside and driven occasionally to keep fluids circulated, etc. This is a 383HP / Torqueflite Transmission (Column Shift) / 8 3/4 rearend (3.23 single-wheeler - Not Original Pumpkin) Manual Steering / Manual Drum Brakes / Heater / Radio w/ Rear Speaker / Bench Seats ENGINE: Has been rebuilt - less than a 1000 miles on it ! This is the original Block, Crank, Rods, Heads - Valve Covers, Oil Pan, etc Engine was bored .060 over with 10.5 compression OEM style pistons - VERY mild aftermarket Cam Still has the Offy Intake Manifold the Original Owner installed - Correct Carb & Air Cleaner. Original Exhaust Maifolds were replaced by "flipper" since the car had headers installed when New. Still has the Aftermarket Distributor (Accel 20302) from it's "Day 3" conversion in 1968 - Dual Exhaust is in Good Condition. I have the Original 2-core Radiator, 4-blade Fan, spacer, etc. but made it more user-friendly by installing a correct looking 3-core Radiator with a 7-blade Clutch Fan and NEW MoPar Aluminum Water Pump - NO overheating issues !!! NEW Alternator & Belt, all fluids changed, greased, etc - Car is ready for a lil' cruisin'. Transmission was Rebuilt at the same time as Engine - less than a 1000 miles on it ! Rearend had a Posi-unit but "flipper" installed 3.23 single-wheeler pumpkin. EXTERIOR COLOR: Turbine Bronze Metallic BLACK INTERIOR: ORIGINAL DASH(untouched) - Door Cards & Headliner - Steering Wheel, Date-Coded Seat Belts, etc "Flipper" replaced the Seat Covers & Carpet (Carpet needs replaced again). ENGINE COMPARTMENT, etc: If it were me and I was going to keep the car, I would pull engine & trans - paint and detail engine compartment & drivetrain. It looks pretty decent now but detailing the engine compartment would really make it Nice. TRUNK AREA: Trunk is STILL in ORIGINAL Factory Paint !! Has some very light "surface-rust" but NO and I repeat NO Pinholes anywhere ! Do a light clean-up, paint and install a New trunk mat. Some of the items that need TLC are: Hood Hinges need rebuilt Radio needs checked RH Fender & H/L Door need adjusted Both Doors need adjusted BODY CONDITION OVERALL: I am Not an afficianado of the RoadRunners normally but bought this one because I KNEW the car since NEW - VERY Solid Body with Original Sheet-metal, Glass, Grill Assy, Tail-lites, Trunk Panel, etc ! As you can see from the pics, repaint is the original Color with some scratches and "hickies(see pics), so if you're looking for "perfection" then you better keep looking. But if you want a good, Solid ol' RoadRunner that you can drive and enjoy NOW with plans for TLC at a later time, than this is YOUR car ! WHEELS and TIRES: Has excellent B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A Tires - Fronts: 225/60/14's and Rears: 245/60/14's - Rear Wheels and Tires are pictured, Front Wheels now have the B.F.G.'s installed. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Will need repainted under Master Cylinder from leaked brake fluid: INTERIOR PICS: ORIGINAL 8-TRACK PLAYER installed by Original Owner !! TRUNK PICS: MISC PICS - Hood Hickies - Underside pics (undercoated), etc: REAR - TRUNK EXTENSIONS - GOOD CONDITION ! We are a small, Full-time Mopar shop specializing in 1962 thru 1965 B-bodies.
