Its 1977 california 240D. Runs and drives super. Even though its 1977, the condition is not bad. But it is not in showroom condition but it is a car that needs to be driven and be just maintained. The exterior and interior condition is ok, doors close like it has springs or something in them, its very good build car.   It is slow off the start; just like any other 240d of same model but once picked up, it has no problem overtaking cars. It has no mechanical problems, no smoke, no leaks or no overheating, and the miles are actual and are accurate (i drive the car so miles will be around 93600). The car's engine has been well maintained and sounds good and the radio/speakers are original and sound super great ( i notice same radio's selling around 300-400 and this is in good condition). The paint looks ok for 1977; (has some spots that need attention, doesn't show sign of peeling). Handling is good. Fans blow cold/hot air. The car looks to be all original, all interior components looks very much intact and not fiddled with. The inside wood trim is in very good shape and not cracked or show signs of fading. All brakes are disc and in working order. The dash lights are weird, they work when they want to. Rear left door is also weird it opens from inside handle; its probably an easy fix. Its also missing rear bottom door trim. There are little cuts or just loose on the carpet/fabric. The hood has little bend, but not very noticeable. The middle vents are loose, the clips came off, should be easy fix.....i will include the clips. There is little paint patchs on trunk. Its missing spare tire. It is not a new car or pristine perfect condition but nice and clean with good engine and has normal wear and tear, from its years accordingly. Got bunch of recommended stuff done on last service, see below; even though, none was needed, except oil change at 91,500 miles; so it's due another oil change soon and probably rear tires, as well.   Engine Oil and filter - Mobil Turbo Diesel Synthetic Complete flush of Transmission Oil and filter - Mobil ATF Synthetic Coolant flush - replaced all coolant with new coolant thermostat new glows plugs injectors (replaced with NA33x, it had NA32x) new water pump plus the belts. fuel / air filters new fuel primer pump. and bunch of other maintenance stuff... $350 deposit if you win. And make sure you have funds before bidding. I have the clear title. edit: Also, i noticed on some pictures (like on the bumper etc.); it is showing white marks...most are just dried up wax...i made a mistake few months back...putting little wax it in sun but should come off..)
