This 1998 Ford Explorer XLT All-Wheel-Drive runs great and had 5 previous owners and only 1 reported accident per the AutoCheck Report shown above. It has a valid NJ inspection sticker through 8/13. This Explorer runs great, I test drove the vehicle for about 120 miles and it performed quite good. The first thing I noticed when I inspected the SUV is that the motor sounds great and the vehicle starts right up. It has a solid battery and the motor is a 5.0 Liter V8 which has plenty of power. There are no warning lights lit on the dashboard whatsoever. This vehicle is also All-Wheel Drive making it very good in tough weather conditions. I also noticed that the transmissions shifts very smoothly and has no problems, the alignment on the vehicle is off ever so slightly to the left which I give a clear example of in the video posted. There is also a very slight vibration in the wheel which is really minor, however I did notice it so I am making you aware of that. The brakes feel good in the vehicle, no odd noises or sounds whatsoever and they bring the vehicle to a stop without any problems. There are no leaks coming from the vehicle whatsoever and all fluids in this vehicle are all filled to proper levels. This vehicle does have a title issue noted on the AutoCheck Report which is simply an error that the owner made when renewing registration on the vehicle. If the wrong mileage is written on the title when the vehicle is re-registered the title will always be marked "M" for Mileage Exceeds Mechanical Limits as shown on the AutoCheck Report shown above. The title shows 206,000 and the vehicle shows 204,000. The vehicle can still be registered to its new owner with no problem at the DMV. The interior of this SUV has a ton of great features: Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Power Seats (including lumbar support), working Heat - A/C, Alpine CD Player, Am/Fm Radio, ABS, Cruise Control and much more - All of which is fully operational. The carpets look good for the year and miles and only have a few minor blemishes. The seats are also in good shape overall and there is only a few minor cracks in the vinyl center armrest and the dash area. The interior smells great, no pet odor whatsoever and definitely no smoke smell. The vehicle does come with floormats as you can see in the pictures. The steering wheel is in great shape which I point out in detail in the video. All interior/exterior lights and signals are also working in the vehicle except for the disconnected fog light. The body of the vehicle is in good overall condition as well. There is a few minor rust spots on the body which are located near the running boards. Please see the pictures/video for a close look. There rear liftgate has been fixed if you watched the video where I mention it, it does close and lock/unlock properly. There is also a dent in the front bumper which I point out and the left front fog light is disconnected. There is also a scratch on the roof and a small rust spot on the passengers side rear wheel well. There is a roof rack which is fully secure and a tow hitch on the rear. There is also a spare tire underneath as shown. The tires on the vehicle are matching and have 35-50% treadlife left on them. The rims are in great shape as you can see in the pictures considering the mileage and year of the vehicle. The frame of the vehicle is solid, there is no rust damage, only some surface discoloration. The engine bay is clean and all fluids are at proper levels as mentioned.
