Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1995 Mustang GT track car. It has over 202,000 miles on it. This car is an absolute blast to drive! It's VERY entertaining. The engine is original and is stock. It runs really well. The transmission shifts very smoothly. The car has been modified as follows.H&R springs, Bilstein struts/shocks, Steeda caster/camber plates, 2003 10th Anniversary Cobra 13" front brakes, 1998 Cobra rear end with 3.27 gear traction-loc and 11.65" brakes, a nearly new set of 245/45R17 tires on the tri-spoke wheels, K&N air filter, MSD blaster coil, FRPP cap, rotor and wires, 160 degree thermostat. The shifter is new. I have another set of front brake pads for it, and another throttle body. The A/C has been removed. The emissions system has been removed. Most of the interior has been removed. The anti-lock brake system has been removed, and the brakes have been re-plumbed. The 95 Cobra R wheels go with it as does the aluminum drive shaft. There are only 3 Hoosier 275/40R17 R6 tires.I am not selling this as a street car, I'm selling it as a track day car. It is being sold AS IS! If you want to try to make it a street car be my guest, but I never intended for it to be put back. Feel free to message me with questions. I have the title in hand. The parts are worth more than what I'm asking for this car. Everything thing that I have for it, mentioned here or not, will go with it.I am also selling my 2005 Mustang in another auction. On Feb-25-13 at 07:37:29 PST, seller added the following information:I have also replaced the balancer/crank pulley with an FRPP unit.On Feb-26-13 at 00:16:16 PST, seller added the following information: I've been getting a few questions, here are a few answers. The exhaust consists of the stock tubular manifolds, a BBK off-road X-pipe, and some two chamber mufflers from Summit Racing with turn downs. The rear end in this car is a refurbished unit from MPS. It is 1998 Cobra spec. It has maybe 400 miles on it since I installed it. The car has not been on track since the rear end was changed. It was filled with Redline synthetic oil. The speedo gear was changed to match the 3.27 rear gear. The Cobra R rims are real Ford rims. They are NOT chinese copies. The front 13" rotors are slotted and drilled, and the front calipers have Hawk Blue pads installed. The shock/strut/spring combo was sourced from Maximum Motorsports. They know what works. The brake plumbing came from Maximum also. The body of this car is maybe a C-. It is rusty. The car came from NJ. If you are looking for a pristine body, this isn't it. I always figured that I'd run it till it quit, and transfer all the good stuff to a Fox notch, or maybe a FFR Roadster kit. Like I mentioned before $2500 is a steal for all of these parts. You get the car as a movable place to store them.
