1974 vw classic bug. 4 cylinder, semi auto trany. This car was first sold in Long Island, NY. In 1979 is was sold to a Cape cod man. He used it only on summer days on the cape. I got it thru a auction. The following list is of what i have replaced. i worked for vw for years. New items..4 tires, 4 shocks. all brake parts including shoes, springs, wheel cylinders and master cylinder. new running boards, 2 new headlight buckets. new gas tank and filter. electric windshield washer motor. new carb, plugs, points, cap and rotor. valves adjusted, oil changed. 4 new fenders and beed. All lights work, wipers , turn signals..The heat works under the back seats...the front floors have been repaired and the heater channels are solid.. both doors shut like new. The engine runs great. The trany works in all gears except 1st It shifts into reverse, low, and second.. you can drive it like this or install the used semi auto trany i just got to replace that one it also comes with extra drive axles and extra semi auto trany parts(lines, tank) From the pictures you know it needs paint but other than that... it drives on the expressway at 65-70 with no vibration. email with any question. i live near boston.. i have an open trailer and can deliver for a small fee... i will also help load it if you send a carrier. reason for selling... on to new projects..It is for sale locally and i can end auction at any time... $200 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of end of auction paypal only.
