You are bidding on a 2008 Suzuki V-Strom DL650, flat black. The bike is in very nice condition and everything works. It's never been laid down. Most of the 11,800 miles have been on the freeway, during road trips. I would take it for a weekend, ride it for 1000+ miles, then park it for months. I love this bike and am only selling because I have a Harley that I ride more. This bike needs to be owned by someone who will ride it more. Engine: Engine is stock, unmodified. It does not smoke, burn oil. It runs smoothly as it should. Transmission: The transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The clutch has not been abused. Electrical: The electrical system is intact, with nothing cut or spliced. The battery is new and is sitting on a trickle charger. The gauges work. Everything works. Suspension: Unmodified and working as it should. Seat, Grips, Etc: The seat is comfortable and unwripped. The grips are heated. Extras: The bike comes with: Oxford heated grips which are adjustable and very toasty on their highest setting. Electronic cruise control which is great for long trips. Givi touring windshield which is mounted on a MadStad bracket. The shield is fully adjustable for height and rake 2 Accessory Power Plugs For charging phones, GPS, iPods, etc. Removable Givi saddlebags They pop right off and act as suitcases when you get to your destination Areas of concern: The bike will need new tires in the next couple thousand miles The passenger grab rail has a few scratches on it which can be seen in photos if you look closely This bike has been maintained, using Suzuki parts. It starts right up, pulls strongly, and will take you anywhere you'd like to go. All that being said: This Bike is being sold as-is, with no warranty. I've done my best to describe it.
