This is a fun and great looking car. First year for the mustang - 1964 1/2!! You could drive this car as it is with a handful of small repairs or restore it to its full glory. We believe it was restored about 10 years ago but it could now use a bit of TLC. Tops OK with some small tears - should be replaced. Paint looks good from a distance but could use some body work and new paint. Interior is nice with no major problems. The vin tells us it had a V8 260 originally but appears that the engine was replaced with a 289. Needs valve seals, smokes a bit. Also needs heater core. Just had a tune up done. I have owned the car for about 2 years and drove it very little. Floors are pretty solid but there is rust through on the passenger side. Frame work had been done during the previous restoration and it looks like it needs some more attention. This car is not a basket case nor is it perfect.
