Volvo 780 Bertone coupe owned and restored by a professional Volvo technician. Part of a collection that is downsizing, my loss is your gain. This is the RARE Bertone edition made in Italy; less than 9,800 of these cars were made and it was Volvo's Flagship model. The car was repainted in the original factory Metallic Red with Clearcoat. The paint looks STUNNING in the sun and will fetch attention wherever it goes. The seats were reupholsered using real leather, in the original Volvo pattern with black insets. There is no stereo, it is ready for your own custom system or if you want an AM FM CD stereo and front speakers installed I can do this for $275. The title is salvage, this is from a minor front collision from before I owned it. There is no frame damage, and you wouldn't know by examining the car. Besides being in excellent cosmetic condition, the car has been well cared for mechanically. In the last few years the transmission has been resealed, and the engine was removed for a valve job, reseal, and timing belt. The suspension and brakes are in good condition. This car would make a good collector car OR a daily driver you can be proud of! So what is a collectible car like this worth? Well, the current NADA guide value for this model is $5725. However, we all know about the economic climate out there, and few are spending that kind of money on cars. Therefore, I have set the reserve BELOW $5000! This isn't one of those annoying auctions where the reserve is like $10 below the buy it now price. Put in a bid, you have a real shot at owning this COLLECTOR CAR at a substantial discount! If you need to arrange shipping, I can easily accomodate a transport company picking up any time during business hours; it should go smoothly. I can't pick up at airports but shuttles and taxis are plentiful and competitively priced in Los Angeles.
