I have for sale a 1951 Ford Sedan. I bought it a few months ago with the plan to restore it. My circumstances have changed and that is no longer in the plans. The car is stored in Reno, Nevada. I am 400 miles away in Indian Springs, Nevada. The car is very complete and an excellent candidate for restoration. While a little TLC would make it a very interesting daily driver, that would miss the restoration opportunity. Somewhere along the way (it's a 62 year old car) the mechanical fuel pump was replaced with an electric one. This was a bad idea and the modification should be reversed. The carburetor leaks a bit around the base While the engine will start, this together with the electric fuel pump keep the engine from running smoothly. All of this would be resolved with minor repairs or certainly with a more complete restoration. The car has a flathead V8 and a 3 speed, column mounted, manual shift. Thanks for looking. Good luck.
