I paid $17,000 for the car and I have put close to $4,000 in upgrades. The car is in really good condition considering it is a 1999. There are some minor rock chips, a few normal faint scratches, and a little curb rash on wheels. All what you would expect for a car that is 14 years old. Overall it is in very good condition and I receive many compliments while out in it. It has been a great enjoyment for my family and me. I would love to keep it forever but my priorities are different right now. You will be getting a car that I cherished and put allot of pride in. I hope you will get as much pleasure and fun that I had with it. I have tried to accurately described the car as best as I can, however, like always, I'd probably have left something out or have forgotten about it. This is where you come in. Please, if you have any questions or concern, send me an email. If you are in the western part of Virginia please feel free to contact me and come test drive it. The Porsche 911 is being sold AS-IS. This is a private party seller, thus there will be no warranty whatsoever. Please, make sure you ask all the necessary questions when buying a used car. Once it is sold, it is FINAL. Full payment is due withing seven (7) days after auction ended. Please respect all eBay's rules and regulation when you bid and when you won. You are responsible for the shipping this car to your destination. I will help as much as I can. Thank you!On Feb-15-13 at 13:17:42 PST, seller added the following information: I thought I would add this. You may wonder why I am asking a price below the book value. It appears NADA and KBB would indicate this car is worth $19,000 to $20,000. I am not trying to make a profit but I am trying to sell the car. I need the money and don't want to list the car for weeks and weeks. This is a very nice car both condition and running. If I were a car salesmen then I would put it up for sale at a higher price and sit back and wait, but I'm not a salesman. Like I stated, I am selling the car because my family needs changed. Thank you for looking at it. I'm going to miss it. On Feb-16-13 at 07:50:00 PST, seller added the following information: It also has a fairly new Mass Air Flow Sensor. Most all the parts came from Pelican Parts. They are good quality parts. On Feb-17-13 at 05:53:16 PST, seller added the following information: I am getting allot of great questions and it has reminded me of some more information. It is a nice car for it's age. The body is very good. There are some rock chips, normal scratches and wear. The color is a brilliant white and does not show any fading. Mechanically it is in great shape. I have put allot of money in it on upgrades such as the LN Engineering IMS bearing (I saved the old bearing and you can have it). It has very little wear on the leather interior and no tears or rips. The carpet still looks new and still has great color. The dash is great also. Like I stated in the add the wheels have some curb rash. I had meant to fix them but did not get around to it. I think they still look fine but if you want perfect then they need repair. Of course perfect comes at a premium price. It will also need new rotors and brakes at some point. The air conditioner works good but I do need to recharge it each year. I use a kit from advance auto. I would guess there is a small leak but it does work. The transmission shifts smooth. Does not appear to be any leaks. I have had the engine and transmission back in since December and everything appears good. It is running very good. I did all the work myself and I am a decent mechanic (not by trade). Perfect sells for around $20,000 to $22,000. This is a great car in very good shape that is in great running condition and has a good sound smooth body. It does have the minor things I mentioned which I intended to fix but I need to sell it for the money. I had intended on keeping it forever and work on it as a hobby, but that is life. I do get many compliments and people also say it looks so good to be a 1999. I appreciate your bid and I hope this helps to answer your questions.
