1968 Ford Galaxy 500 Hardtop Fastback. The Galaxie Fastbacks are becoming very desirable due to their Mustang roof line, plus the fact 68 Mustang Fastbacks are selling for $30k plus. This is a very original, survivor Fastback Galaxie with the rare Hidden Headlight option which still work properly. The Galaxie is equipped with a Factory original 390 V8 Big Block , Automatic Transmission, Power Steering , Front Disc Brakes, and working Factory Air Condition. This Ford is a super straight and rust free South Georgia Car. The body, floor pans, trunk pan, and frame are solid and rust free. The paint is about 10 years old and still has a mirror shine, with only a few age flaws, but no rust bubbles. The bumpers are not new, but very presentable. The interior is all original including the carpet, and shows very well(slight wear on drivers entrance point and the headliner has as slight tear. This Galaxie runs and drives very good and could be driven daily. All lights work properly. All instruments and gauges work, including the gas gauge. I just added the 18x9 1/2 and 18x8 American Eagle 338 wheels with the optional 3 bar knockoff, with speed rated tires, and the Galaxie has been lowered 2 inches. This Ford has a great stance and rides very nice. It is very hard to find a solid, original type survivor car like this Galaxie. If you are tired of all the Mustangs and Camaros maybe this Galaxie is what you are looking for. As usual the Ford will be sold as is, where is, without warranty, expressed,written, or implied.
