I am listing this 1974 Oldsmobile 88 354 Barrel with about 42,000 miles for an older gentleman in Sarasota, about 1 hour south of me. He's the 2nd owner and is selling because he's moving north to be near his family. This is an accident and rust free vehicle. Current owner purchased this vehicle from his neighbor's estate in 2003. He had an eye on this car for quite sometime. From what I understand the original owner used to work for GM and brought this Delta straight from the factory to more or less where it is now. This vehicle has been used very little and garaged kept all its life! For the most part, this Oldsmobile is very original except for a new paint job, radio and the wheels. He does not have the original wheels, but I believe that he still has the original radio. Owner spent a considerable amount of money on upgrades as well as restorations. See attached image list of all the work done to this vehicle! The main bulk of the money was spent on a custom paint job, professionally executed and it shows even better in person. Also, he has all original paperwork-literature that came with this car (see attached images). This car runs VERY well... Actually, it was quite impressive for the age! It comes with a 354 Barrel engine. The A/C works but it's weak so it's safe to say that it will need attention. Other than this everything on this Delta works as it should, including lights, gauges, etc! To sum it up, if you are looking for a very nice turn-key Delta 88 then I feel that this ride deserves serious consideration! Attention: eBay does no longer offer complementary car history reports with more than 6 listings per year, so I leave it to the buyer to pull one if desired. This is a NO RESERVE LISTING, so this is a good opportunity to acquire a very nice Delta. Serious eBay members only, PLEASE!! As you can see per my feedback I don't play games so extend me the same courtesy. There's a $1000.00 deposit due within 24 hours, so make sure this is what you want before bidding, and that your financials are in order too! Deposits may be returned if an issue with the item arises that I wasn't aware of, or/and I fail to describe suitably. I gladly accept deposits through Pay Pal, but can not accept full balance because Pay Pal now requires to show electronic tracking when shipping any item in order for the seller/buyer to be protected under their policy. So logically, a vehicle can't be shipped using the required electronic tracking system because it can't be placed inside a box nor an envelope! Form of payments: Personal checks (once cleared), bank transfer, cashier's checks (once verified), or cash! I will be glad to assist with shipping arrangements and can even refer you to a trusted transportation company that I personally use, but all costs are buyer's responsibility.
